The Marble Church (Marmorkirken in danish) is close to the queens castle Amalienborg. When you stand in front of the main entrance you have a view through the castle square to the new opera house on the other side of the harbour.

Kota or Old Jakarta, also known as Old Batavia is a small area in Jakarta which retains its Dutch character. Batavia, because of its location, was the centre of commerce for the continent. The area is now a heritage site. Many of the building are in need of repair. Bicycles taxi riders wait for their next customer.

On Commercial Road in the Heart of the East End of London is Spitalfields Market, a covered market. There are lots of café-restaurants too, much frequented by City workers from up the road in the Financial District, but outside it still looks the same as ever – although perhaps the redbrick is brighter after a good clean – and opposite is the pretty Christ Church. Infact the area is looking quite prosperous, well perhaps not the pub over the road, which looks very run down indeed. More eloquent stuff can be found in Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Spitalfields_Market
