Fatehpur Sikri Palace complex was built over a number of years in the 1500’s. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Jalal’ud-Din Muhammad Akbar (1556-1605). The complex is on a hill about by an artificial lake. The taller five level structure in the background is the Panch Mahalo palace.
