Driving between Nelson and Westport, at some point you will reach Hope Saddle, a high point within the Kahurangi National Park. If you are impressed by extensive views this is one to take in.I parked up at night in order to get the pre-dawn lights and was rewarded with the cloud formations that you see. I had to use HDR techniques otherwise the land would all have been black.
