Date: July 25, 2011 Location: Karakoram mountains of Pakistan, Godwin Austin glacier, Broad Peak basecamp. The high Karakoram in afternoon splendor. After a short hike from the Concordia to the Broad peak basecamp we had the afternoon to ourselves, and I tried a hand held 360. K2, the second highest and generally acknowledged the worlds most dangerous sits at the high end of the valley.
