The Lantau Link is 3.5 km long and carries a railway as well as roads. Lantau Link is the only land passageway connecting Lantau and other parts of Hong Kong. The Link is split into upper and lower level for traffic. The upper level is open, 3 lane separated highway in both directions, while the lower level is the track for MTR Airport Express and Tung Chung Line, and two single-lane roads for emergency in both directions. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lantau_Link
