This reclining Buddha can be found within the rock temple complex of Isurumuniya,which in turn makes up part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Anuradhapura. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isurumuniya contains more information on the rock temple, and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anuradhapura discusses the wider city.
