This program is BBC’s flagship for technology. The Click team describes it as “the best debate on global technology, social media and the Internet” or “your guide to all the latest gadgets, websites, games and computer industry news”.

This is the third time 360Cities has appeared in this program. Webscape host, Kate Russell (@katerussell), says about the 360Cities app:

Thanks to the Click review, the 360Cities app made it to #1 in the UK iTunes store. Now, even more people are traveling with the 360Cities app around the World.

We’ve notified the top three participants and are awaiting their confirmation of acceptance under the rules of the contest. We’ll be announcing the winners as soon as we have confirmation from the highest scoring participants.

We launched our mobile app on December 3rd and we’re quite pleased with the response. Check out our landing page from which you can go to the app store and download the app.

We’re proud to announce the launch of our iPhone app.

Not surprisingly, we’re calling the app “360Cities”, the goal of the app being to enable a new and wider range of people to participate in our mission of creating a panoramic world.

We’ll be reviewing panoramas uploaded to 360Cities from our new app. Uploaded panoramas that meet our quality standards will surface when zooming in to lower levels on our World Map, giving users the opportunity of viewing the planet in greater panoramic detail. Now you can view all images hosted on on iPhone. No download is necessary, just load any image page in your iPhone Safari browser to see it. The best way to start it is to load the recent activity page ( or the search page ( in your iPhone and click on any image there.

Features of iPhone BETA:
– No download necessary, works directly in your Safari browser
– View any panorama by simply going to it’s image page
– Use the “Next” button to skip to a new panorama (randomly selected)

Recommended use cases include showing your panoramas to your friends during a lunch together or presenting your portfolio to a client when you don’t have a computer handy. Now you can take 360Cities with you anywhere you go 🙂
