This is a panorama of the Milky Way over my house, stitched from 6 photos at 14mm. I didn’t bother stitching a second row for the ground as it would have been near black anyway. Shot with a Nikon D700 & 14-24mm AF-S lens @ f/2.8, ISO 2500, 40 second exposure with long exposure noise reduction, and custom white balance at 3070°K.
