The Southpeak (2712m) is one of the 3 main peaks of the Watzmann. Normally you reach it by traversing the Watzmannridge which gives you an incredible View down to Königssee (St. Bartholomä) and Wimbachgrieß valley – 2000 meters below. If the sky ist clear you can see many of the famous mountain of the eastern alps.
