Highclere Castle in Hampshire, plays host every year to a Battle Proms Concert in the grounds. The Concert is supported by Napoleonic Cavalry and Infantry displays, the Grace Spitfire and over 200 cannon! The concert covers classic pieces such as Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture (with live cannon fire), Beethoven’s Wellington’s Victory, more commonly known as the “Battle Symphony” (with 193 cannons, musket fire and fireworks!), Jerusalem, Rule Britannia, God Save the Queen and Land of Hope and Glory. It all culminates with flag waving and fireworks.
