The Monastery of Montserrat is famous for its Boys Choir. The choir and accompanying school here have been in existance for over 1000 years. The Benedictine Monks are instructors, and also teachers for school classes. The Cathedral is known as the home of the Black Madonna. The top of Montserrat is the point from which several trails ranging from a few minutes to all day hikes take you through a National Park and wilderness sanctuary.
