A view inside Big Four Ice Caves along the Mountain Loop Highway near Silverton, Washington. The glacier itself is located far below at the base of Big Four Mountain & the ceiling height is 30-40 feet up. Falling snow & debris could be heard above, plus a constant threat of small avalanches. Entering the cave is not recommended as a collapse or other dangers could occur at any moment.
