This month, we’re featuring James Patterson, a freelance photographer and videographer from England, UK, whose passion for 360º panoramas takes him across the globe. Whether using his drone or Sony mirrorless camera, James creates immersive 360º imagery that transports viewers to breathtaking landscapes from above.
Since joining 360Cities in 2015, James has built a nice collection of 360º panoramas, earning him the Expert badge. In January, he added 35 new panoramas, offering a stunning aerial journey through New Zealand’s diverse landscapes, from glacial terrains to golden beaches:
- Dry Valley & Lindis Pass – Sweeping aerial views of the rugged South Island terrain.
- Tasman River & Brewster Glacier – A striking contrast between icy landscapes and flowing waterways.
- Cape Farewell & Golden Bay – Stunning coastal perspectives capturing New Zealand’s breathtaking shoreline.
- Motuareronui / Adele Island, Abel Tasman – A glimpse into one of the country’s most scenic national parks.
