Abandoned Churches in Russia

Not all of the panoramas on 360Cities are from sparkling hotels, shopping malls, or fancy towns. Some of the interesting places we share are the places that have been left alone untouched for decades. I enjoy seeing such places too! Two photographers on 360Cities are clearly enjoying it themselves: Andrew Mishin and Vasily Kumaev seem to be on a mission to photograph as many abandoned churches as possible. There certainly must be a lot in Russia. Here is one. It looks like someone has started reconstruction? Or maybe the reconstruction was started decades ago and itself abandoned. Who knows.
