On a very still night, when the Milky Way galaxy arches overhead this is the place to be. The only ripples in the pond were from a distant beaver collecting trees for it's dam. Shooting night sky panoramas is a lengthy process, and as the hours dragged on and each click of the camera seemed to take longer and longer I really wondered if it would be worth it. Yes. It was worth it.
