Hi guys! This week, we are going to take a short trip to Egypt, as Mohamed Attef travelled to Luxor and took a number of amazing panos at the Karnak Temple Complex. Let’s have a look at few of the panos.

The complex now serves as a huge open-air museum and the second largest religious site in the world, but it was dedicated to tke king of the Egyptian gods Amon-ra, back in the times of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III.
Colossal Statues of Ramsses II at Luxor Temple (click the picture to open the pano)
The entrance to the temple is guided by the statues of Ramsses II, who is now often regarded as the most powerful pharaoh of Egypt.
Hypostyle Hall at Luxor Temple (click the picture to open the pano)
Mohamed Attef: “According to the Egyptian mythology columns in the hypostyle hall symbolically supporting the heavens, at one point in history, the hypostyle hall was converted into a christian chapel, excavations of Luxor temple revealed not only the history of Egypt and its Pharaos but also provided insight the religious and methodical believes of the ancient Egyptians through the hieroglyphics reliefs and the architecture itself.”
