This September, we’re putting the spotlight on Eden Akavia, a filmmaker who has been sharing the spirit of Israel through his immersive 360º videos since joining 360Cities in 2019. Eden’s work invites us on a journey across Israel, offering a cinematic glimpse into places both iconic and hidden, from the serene banks of the Jordan River to the sunflowers in the Jezreel Valley.
With 362 videos under his belt, including 48 just in September, Eden focuses its creation on Israel’s diverse landscapes.
Imagine floating above the Sea of Galilee at sunset, or standing amidst the ancient ruins of the Nabratein synagogue. Eden’s camera doesn’t just show you these places—it takes you there, turning each video into a deeply immersive experience that makes you hear the distant hum of the river, and sense the echoes of history.
From a crumbling water tower in Haifa Bay to the cotton fields of the Jezreel Valley, Eden’s work is about capturing the atmosphere of each location. Whether it’s the deck of a flood-damaged riverbank or the quiet glow of a Christmas tree in a Maronite Church, every scene carries its own story.
Explore Eden Akavia’s videos on 360Cities and embark on a virtual adventure across Israel, through his eyes.
