This November, we’re happy to spotlight Valentin Arfire, a passionate amateur panorama photographer who has turned the everyday sights of Southampton into a visual journey. Valentin’s work offers a perspective on this coastal UK town.
Since joining 360Cities in 2008, he has amassed nearly 3,000 panoramas and 22 videos, each one a piece of his ongoing exploration around the world. That is the reason why Valentin holds the “Nomad” badge—a fitting title for someone who roams the world, capturing both its landmarks and lesser-known spaces.
In October alone, he published 62 panoramas and two videos, creating a portrait of Southampton that goes beyond typical tourist shots. Through his lens, we wander through Town Quay, view the city from Central Station Bridge, Mayflower Roundabout, Common Park, and experience the local flavor of graffiti-covered passageways. Each panorama and 360º video immerses us in the places Southampton residents see every day, transforming them into immersive scenes of beauty and curiosity.
Explore Valentin Arfire’s Southampton panoramas and 360º videos on 360Cities and take a walk through the heart of this UK city, one panoramic view at a time.
